HM-Funktechnik GmbH (short HM-radio) is your partner for wireless remote control of logging winches: reliable, rugged and top quality construction. The first “Meier radio remote control” for logging winches was developed in 1990 and many of those are still in use today. Product requirements and specifications developed at that time are still valid today. Wireless range and interference immunity is still on top of the list. This requires well designed, narrow band radio modules, which are more expensive than the wide-band or chip module approach used by some of our competitors. Nothing is worse than loosing control of the winch with less than 150ft (50m) away. HM-Funktechnik only uses for the logging winch remote control in house developed and built radio modules that has a line of sight range of more than a mile! (2Km).

HM-Funktechnik offers different solutions for your individual remote control. Arguably, remote controls are user specific. Different operators prefer different controls. We offer rugged remotes with  key - panels employing  large  symbols and buttons, and smaller, more delicate rocker switch controls, to suite your preference.
